West Walnut to close at University Parkway
West Walnut Street at University Parkway will be closed beginning tomorrow (Friday, April 26) while sewer lines are relocated. This closure is expected to last approximately one week or until related work is completed.
Motorists should use Cherokee Street as a detour to area businesses.
Drivers who cannot avoid the area should expect delays, use caution in the construction zone, and observe posted speed limits for their safety and the safety of workers.
