Portion of Buffalo Street to close for overnight construction next week

Buffalo Street between State of Franklin Road and West Walnut Street, including the intersection of West Walnut and Buffalo streets will be closed to all traffic next Monday, Oct. 17 and Tuesday, Oct. 18 beginning at 4 p.m. both days. The closure will remain in effect for 6-12 hours while crews complete the necessary work.

This work is taking place as part of the City of Johnson City’s West Walnut Street Redevelopment Project. Additional information about the proposed redevelopment in this area as well as updates on construction can be found on the City’s website, www.johnsoncitytn.org/westwalnutplan.
