Parking lot resurfacing to cause temporary lane closures

Johnson City Public Works will close the Boone Street parking lot for resurfacing and sidewalk maintenance beginning Monday, April 1. During construction, one lane of West Main Street and a portion of South Boone Street will have temporary lane closures impacting traffic daily between 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m. The estimated completion date is Friday, April 26 or until related work is completed.

Drivers who cannot avoid the area should expect delays, use caution in the construction zone, and observe posted speed limits for their safety and the safety of workers.
