East Main Street to close for Water and Sewer Services maintenance

Johnson City Water and Sewer Services will close East Main Street between South Roan Street and Colonial Way beginning Tuesday, Feb. 27 at 11 p.m. The complete closure of East Main Street will remain in place until Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 6 a.m., when one lane will reopen to traffic. All lanes will reopen at approximately 2 p.m. Wednesday or once all necessary work is completed.

Motorists are asked to observe all posted signage and to avoid the construction area.

Drivers who cannot avoid the area should expect delays, use caution in the construction zone, and observe posted speed limits for their safety and the safety of workers.
