Lane closure on Buffalo Road for construction project
Johnson City Public Works will close one lane of Buffalo Road between Cherokee Road and Lafe Cox Drive beginning Wednesday, Jan. 31. The closure will impact traffic 24 hours a day while crews complete the necessary work. The estimated completion date, weather dependent, is Wednesday, Feb. 7.
Motorists are asked to observe all detour signage.
Drivers who cannot avoid the area should expect delays, use caution in the construction zone, and observe posted speed limits for their safety and the safety of workers.
