Solid Waste resumes service

Service for all Johnson City Solid Waste customers has resumed following a recent winter storm. Roadway conditions have improved to the point that crews may return to their regular schedule. However, drivers may use their discretion to avoid roadways that are unsafe to navigate due to icy conditions.

For customers who did not have solid waste collected during the suspension, city crews will make every effort to provide garbage and recycling services by the end of today, Jan. 17.
