Westbound lane on Carroll Creek Road to close for widening project

Johnson City Public Works will close the westbound lane of Carroll Creek Road near North Roan Street for road widening beginning Monday, Nov. 6. The daily lane closure will impact traffic between 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The estimated completion date, weather dependent, is Friday, Nov. 10.

Signage will be in place to direct westbound motorists to an alternate route.

Drivers who cannot avoid the area should expect delays, use caution in the construction zone, and observe posted speed limits for their safety and the safety of workers.
