Milling, paving on South Roan Street begins Monday

The City of Johnson City’s Public Works Department will mill and pave South Roan Street between West State of Franklin Road and University Parkway beginning Monday, Oct. 9. The expected completion date is Friday, Oct. 13. Intermittent lane closures will be in place, and flaggers will be present to direct motorists. Traffic will be impacted between 8:15 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily.

Drivers who cannot avoid the area should expect delays, use caution in the construction zone, and observe posted speed limits for their safety and the safety of workers.
