Portion of South Roan to remain closed through Sept. 1
BrightRidge and the Johnson City Public Works Department closed a portion of South Roan Street between West State of Franklin Road and West Walnut Street for conduit installation on Monday, Aug. 14. The expected completion date has been extended to Friday, Sept. 1 or until related work is complete.
Detour signs are in place.
Motorists should expect delays, use caution in the construction zone, and observe posted speed limits for their safety and the safety of workers.
