Atmos Energy work to impact traffic on Montgomery Street

Atmos Energy will conduct work on Montgomery Street between West Holston and West Watauga avenues beginning Monday, Aug. 21. Montgomery Street will be closed to traffic for two months. The closure is expected to cause minimal impact to traffic on Unaka and Watauga avenues at Montgomery.

Atmos Energy will accommodate businesses and residences that need to maintain access.

Motorists should expect delays, use caution in the construction zone, and observe posted speed limits for their safety and the safety of workers.
