Johnson City Commission to hold work session Thursday

The Johnson City Board of Commissioners will hold a work session on Thursday, June 29 at 2 p.m. in the Administrative Conference Room of the Municipal and Safety Building, 601 E. Main St. The following topics will be discussed:

• Volunteer board applications.
• Ordinance 4845-23, an ordinance to amend Article III and Article VI of the Zoning Ordinance to make changes related to three overlay districts: Corridor, Design, and Gateway.
• Ordinance 4849-23, an ordinance to revise and update Title 15, Chapters 1,7,11,12,14,15 and 16 of the Code of the City of Johnson City, Tenn.
• Ordinance 4850-23, an ordinance to revise and update Title 12, Chapter 3 of the Code of the City of Johnson City, Tenn.
• Ordinance 4851-23, an ordinance to revise and update Title 7, Chapter 2, Section 201 of the Code of the City of Johnson City, Tenn.
• Growth Management Study.
• Opioid settlement funds.
• Other administrative matters.
