311GIS Citizen Reporting Software
City of Johnson City citizen reporting software is now available. "See a problem. Report a problem." It’s the simple tagline behind 311GIS, the citizen reporting software recently implemented by the City of Johnson City. When requests are submitted to the City, authorized administrators can approve requests, make comments, and provide status updates about how the issues are being resolved. Another unique feature of 311GIS is the ability to follow other users’ requests, allowing anyone interested in a particular issue to track its progress.
311GIS utilizes a geofence that ensures issues can only be reported within the City’s service area. Citizens are reminded that this service is not to be used for emergency situations or in place of 911. Citizens may sign up for 311GIS at 311GIS.com and may download the free app from the iTunes or Android Play Store, being sure to select “311 GIS” and not “311 Internal.” For additional information, email email@example.com .
