BASIC COMPUTER EDUCATION

Just got a computer? Need to brush up your skills? This class will empower you to be more comfortable with technology. Topics and discussions include understanding the parts of the computer to social media. 

RALPH E. DAVIS SCHOLARSHIP LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

The academy will bring together a cohort of 15 students from each of Johnson City’s designated after school programs to participate in a citizen leadership workshop, summer service internship and community forum.

Stroller walking is a great way to combine quality time with your child and a workout! Joining the club is a great way to meet people and make new friends while getting fit.

Encouraging your baby to interact with others isn’t just for fun – it’s an important developmental tool. Join us and let your child interact with others to build their social skills and confidence. Parent participation is required. 

SUPER SPROUTS

Develop coordination, balance and movement skills while having fun! Soft Koosh and Nerf type equipment will be used. Parent participation is welcome and encouraged.

Together we will learn the basics and fundamentals of sports including: basketball, football, soccer, baseball, golf, recreational sports, playground games and many more. This class encourages team building, sportsmanship and fair play.

HOMESCHOOL ART

Homeschoolers will have the opportunity to create and express their feelings and experiences through painting and drawing.

CHESS CLUB

Chess is a board game for two players. Benefits include: improving concentration and memory, enhancing reading and math skills, foster logic, critical thinking and creativity, encourages and rewards hard work and develops problem solving skills.

Youth will participate in Ready, Set, Fit, nutrition and anatomy with ETSU medical students. Participants will learn the importance of having a healthy body and mind. 

MICROSOFT OFFICE – POWERPOINT TRAINING

ADVENTURES IN THE KITCHEN

The center will have a bundle of books for you to read covering a theme or topic. If you have a particular interest we can provide a bundle just for your interest. Books are not available to take home you must return them to the front desk after reading. Register in person at MPCC.
