Weight Room

Cost: Youth/Women-$5/month, Men 18+ -$7/month
 
The weight room is designed for fitness and health. The room is equipped with a universal weight station, free weights, bench press and squat bar. 
 
Girls On The Run
Location: Carver Recreation Center

Grades: 3rd – 5th

Girls on the Run is a positive youth development program for girls in 3rd -5th grade. The program inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience–based curriculum which creatively integrates running.
 
Yoga “Just Breathe”
Location: Memorial Park Community Center

Join us for a breath of fresh air as we explore the world of yoga postures, breathing practices, and relaxation techniques. Focus is on precise alignment of postures, emphasizing body awareness and mental clarity. 

Ladies Self Defense 101
Location: Memorial Park Community Center

Instructor: Professional self-defense instructor

Self-awareness is something very important to have to feel confident in your surroundings and prepared for any situation. This class focuses on becoming aware and building confidence as you learn some self-defense strategies.

Cost: $3/per half hour class

Two classes! You choose to do one or both. This class will get you in shape fast and you won’t even realize it because of how much fun you’re having and how it changes each 10 minutes.
You will do 10 minutes of cardio, 10 minutes of weights, and 10 minutes of pilates giving you an allover body workout in 30 minutes.  

Travel Trainer

Meet us at the park for a workout and enjoy the beautiful setting as you get into shape. You won’t even feel like you’re working out with all the beautiful scenery. Locations will vary each month.

Adult Softball

Ages: Adults (Ages 16 & 17 can play with parent permission)
Cost: $400 per Men’s team plus $5 for every non-Johnson City resident. $300 per Coed team plus $5 for every non-Johnson City resident.
Registration: Feb. 1 – April 2.  $20 late registration fee after April 2

Leagues offered are Men’s Open, Industrial, Church and Coed. Men’s teams play a 14-game schedule and a single-elimination tournament. Coed teams play a 10-game schedule and a single elimination tournament. Entry fee, rosters and player ID’s must be turned in at time of registration.
