Doors will typically open 1 – 1.5 hours prior to scheduled events.

Parking for all events is conveniently located around the Liberty Bell Complex. Accessible parking for people with disabilities is also available.

Parking fees are applicable to all lots.  Parking may or may not be included in the ticket price; varies by event.  Check rules and restrictions and whether or not parking is included in the ticket price when purchasing event tickets.

Patrons who have medically necessary bags or items should call the Freedom Hall box office prior to the event to obtain more information and/or permission to bring the item.

All guests entering Freedom Hall may be subject to either metal detector or hand held wand screening and bag check.  Entrance will be denied and a full refund made to any patrons refusing to submit to inspection.  Inspections are conducted by female security officers; males may request a male officer for inspection.  Freedom Hall reserves the right to eject any patron for unlawful or unruly behavior.

Freedom Hall does not permit any firearms on the premises, even if a patron possesses a concealed carry permit.  Only police officers who are on duty are allowed to carry firearms inside the venue. Off duty law enforcement will seek approval in advance and will be required to show identification that will be checked by officers on site. 

No re-entry to the building. Once you leave you will be required to buy a new ticket for reentry. Freedom Hall is a tobacco/vape free area per city ordinance which carries a $50 per violation. Leave all products in your vehicle or they will be confiscated at the door. 

Due to seating constraints - No strollers or car seat carriers are allowed in the building. All diaper bags will be searched. Please adhere to the clear bag policy for your children's things. 

The following items are prohibited and will not be allowed into the arena.  Any patron in possession of a prohibited item will be asked to return that item to their vehicle before having their tickets scanned for entrance into the building.

Tickets may be purchased in person at the box office using cash, debit cards and  VISA, Mastercard and Discover credit cards.  Tickets may also be purchased by telephone at 423-461-4884 or online here.  All purchases using credit or debit cards, whether in person, by telephone or online, will be subject to a convenience fee.

Tickets purchased by telephone or online are typically mailed out as long as there is enough time for delivery prior to the event.  If there is not enough time for delivery or if the patron prefers, tickets may be held at the Box Office at Will Call to be picked up by the purchaser.  Patrons who are picking up tickets at Will Call will need to present photo ID and the credit or debit card used to purchase the tickets and will be required to sign for the tickets.  Only the person who purchased the tickets will be allowed to pick them up unless prior arrangements have been approved through the Box Office.

Tickets, once purchased, are refundable only if an event is cancelled or postponed. All ticket refunds will be issued by Freedom Hall Civic Center through the City of Johnson City.

In the event of postponement, tickets will be refunded for a period of ten (10) business days following notification of the postponement or until the event takes place, whichever comes first.

In the event of cancellation, tickets will be refunded for a period of 30 calendar days following notification of the cancellation.

Refunds will be given as follows:
Tickets purchased by credit or debit card will have a credit issued to that same card and a receipt will be mailed following processing. If for some reason the card that was used to purchase tickets is no longer active, a check will be sent from the City of Johnson City to the original card holder. Tickets purchased by cash will receive a check from the City of Johnson City along with a receipt.

Reserved tickets that are lost, misplaced or forgotten can be reprinted and will be left at the Box Office to be picked up with photo ID and the credit card that was used to purchase the tickets. Orders for general admission tickets that are lost, misplaced or forgotten will be deleted and reprocessed with the photo ID and credit card that was used to purchase the tickets.

Tickets will be replaced only for the original purchaser; no exceptions. Tickets purchased through a second party may not be replaced.

Freedom Hall Civic Center is committed to providing equal accessibility to our guests. Designated seating is available for guests with disabilities for all events at the facility. The seating location may vary due to production limitations, seating configurations or fire regulations.

Accessible seating is limited and will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. These tickets will be sold at the prevailing price for the regular seats located in the same proximity. Patrons requiring accessible seating should notify the Box Office when purchasing tickets.

Freedom Hall is equipped with a hearing enhancement system to assist guests with hearing difficulties. The Assisted Listening Device System (ALD) is provided free of charge. Patrons requiring ALDs should inform the Box Office when purchasing tickets.

A block of seating consisting of twenty (20) seats is reserved for patrons who are deaf or hearing impaired. This seating is reserved until ten (10) business days prior to the show, at which time, if no patrons have purchased these tickets or requested an interpreter, the tickets will be released and sold to the general public.

Freedom Hall Civic Center will provide professional interpreters for events in which requests have been made pursuant to the following procedures:

Individuals needing interpreters should visit or call the Box Office to make the necessary arrangements when purchasing tickets. Requests for an interpreter must be made at least ten (10) business days in advance of the event date to allow all scripts, music sheets, or other pertinent information to be forwarded to the interpreters for the purpose of practicing the show materials.
