TRY US OUT 
Location: Memorial Park Community Center
Day: Thursday, March, 2
Time: 9-10 a.m.
Ages: 50+
Cost: Free

Are you new to the center or want to know more about our programs that we offer, then you don’t want to miss our Try Us Out session. This will be a session to meet staff, find out what programs we offer, take a tour and ask questions about the center and its programs. You will also be given information about any new programs being offered in the next month. Light refreshments will be served and some free try it out vouchers for certain classes will be given.  Please register with the front desk or call 434-6237 to reserve your spot. 

CLOTHING DRIVE FOR CHIPS - CHANGE IS POSSIBLEBACK ON TRACK, GET ON BOARD KICK-OFF EVENT 
Location: Memorial Park Community Center

Do something good with those clothes in your closet that are taking up space or making you feel bad about yourself for not being that size anymore. In honor of NEDA (National Eating Disorders Association) Awareness Week, bring any gently used clothes that no longer fit and donate them to CHIPS. CHIPS provides shelter and services to victims of domestic violence and their children that will enable them to begin and maintain a life free of violence.

LADIES SELF DEFENSE
Location: Memorial Park Community Center
Day: Monday, March 7, 5:30-7 p.m. or Thursday, March 10, 5:30-7 p.m. 
Ages: 18+
Cost: Free 

Join a professional defense instructor and learn self-awareness, confidence and preparedness.  Class will focus on becoming aware and building confidence as you learn some self-defense strategies.
