Johnson City Public Art to hold third 5 x 5 Art Exhibit & Fundraiser

The Johnson City Public Art Committee is pleased to announce its third 5 x 5 Art Exhibit and Fundraiser at the Pavilion at Founders Park, 105 W. Main St., in downtown Johnson City from 5:55-9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 6. The exhibition is free and open to the public.

This year’s event will feature more than 170 artworks that have been generously donated by more than 60 area artists. Each artwork, measuring 5-by-5 inches, will be sold for $25. Also on offer this year are ceramic vessels made by local ceramicists and accompanied by seasonal floral arrangements. Each vessel and flowers will be sold as a set for $50. As attendees peruse the exhibit, they will enjoy a live musical performance by jazz quartet Adrian Nuñez, Hunter Sparks, Noah Wise, and Parker Lewis.
