Overnight sewer line work to impact traffic on Buffalo Street

Traffic flow on Buffalo Street from E. Main Street to E. Market Street will be impacted Tuesday (Nov. 17) between 8 p.m. and 10 a.m. while sewer line rehabilitation work takes place. Contractor equipment will be set up near those intersections. Traffic control measures will be in place.

 Drivers who cannot avoid the area should expect delays, use caution in the construction zone, and observe posted speed limits for their safety and the safety of the workers. 

 This work is part of the first phase of the City of Johnson City’s Downtown Water and Wastewater System Improvements Project.
