Carver Rec offers afterschool program

Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 8, Carver Recreation Center will offer an afterschool program for students in grades K-12. The program will be held from 3-6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Students will receive homework help and have an opportunity to participate in outdoor activities, arts and crafts, cooking classes, and the game room.

Masks and temperature checks will be conducted daily and a signed COVID-19 liability wavier is required. 

The program is limited to 50 participants and is $50 per student. Please register in person at Carver Recreation Center, 322 W. Watauga Ave. For more information, please call 423-461-8830.
