City encourages customers to enroll in free autodraft service
The City of Johnson City is encouraging customers to enroll in its free autodraft service to pay their utility bills. Enrollment can be completed online via a short form at www.johnsoncitytn.org/autodraft. Customers must upload a copy of a voided check to complete enrollment.
With the closure of City Hall, customers are reminded of the multiple ways in which they can pay bills. In addition to the free autodraft option, credit card payments are accepted online and via phone. Tax and utility payments are accepted at a temporary window at City Hall and a drive-thru window has also been opened at 106 Gray Commons Circle in Gray. Collections clerks are available from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays to accept tax and utility payments and applications for business licenses. The night depository located at City Hall also remains available.
