Volunteers needed to serve on the Washington County Board of Equalization

The Johnson City Board of Commissioners will consider two appointments to the Washington County Board of Equalization. These appointments will serve a two-year term ending in April 2022.

This board is responsible for reviewing the tax assessment rolls and hearing complaints and appeals of taxpayers within their jurisdiction. This board meets on an as-needed basis.

Any citizen interested in serving must be a resident of Johnson City and Washington County. An application must be submitted online at www.johnsoncitytn.org/boards. The deadline for applications is April 9.
