Road construction to impact traffic on University Parkway near West State of Franklin

The Johnson City Public Works Department will be paving and milling on University Parkway near West State of Franklin Road from 6 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday, June 5. Motorists can expect temporary lane closures with some full lane closures occurring for short durations throughout the day. Emergency vehicles will not be able to pass during the full lane closures.

Motorists should expect delays, use caution in the construction zone, and observe posted speed limits for their safety and the safety of workers.
