Norfolk Southern to upgrade railroad crossing gates

Norfolk Southern will upgrade gates at the West Market and Buffalo streets railroad crossing beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, May 15. The gate maintenance is expected to last three weeks or until work is complete. Daily railroad maintenance is expected between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Motorists should expect lane closures and diverted traffic in the area. All drivers and pedestrians are encouraged to use caution when near construction workers, to obey directional signage, and to be aware of stopped or slowed traffic.
