911 dispatcher to speak at Community Roundtable

Members of the community are invited to attend the Community Roundtable Thursday, Sept. 8 to hear from a 911 dispatcher employed by the Washington County Emergency Communications District, which serves the police and fire departments of Johnson City, Washington County Sheriff’s Department, and Johnson City/Washington County EMS as well as volunteer fire departments and first responder agencies throughout the county.

The Community Roundtable strives to foster a positive relationship between the Police Department and the citizens it serves. This is not an appointed board, nor is there formal membership. All community members are welcome to attend the monthly meetings.

This session will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the Langston Centre, 315 Elm St.
