Infrastructure work to impact West Walnut Street traffic flow
The eastbound lane of West Walnut Street between West Watauga Avenue and Sevier Street will be closed to all traffic through Friday, March 11. Traffic will be detoured via State of Franklin Road. The westbound lane will remain open.
The eastbound lane of West Walnut Street between West Watauga Avenue and Sevier Street will be closed to all traffic through Friday, March 11. Traffic will be detoured via State of Franklin Road. The westbound lane will remain open.
West Walnut between Earnest and Buffalo streets may be closed intermittently through Friday, March 11.
Additional work is taking place between West Walnut and West Maple streets on Southwest Avenue and Sevier Street.
This work is part of the City of Johnson City’s West Walnut Street Redevelopment Project. Additional information about the proposed redevelopment in this area as well as updates on construction can be found on the City’s website, www.johnsoncitytn.org/westwalnutplan.
