TRAFFIC ADVISORIES for week of May 14

Public Works projects:
• University Parkway (in front of 219/University Parkway Baptist) – sidewalk replacement. One lane closed periodically. Motorists are asked to use caution in this area.
• Princeton Road (in front of 219/Washington County Health Department) – repairs to drainage system. One lane closed. Motorists are asked to use caution in this area.
• Med Tech Parkway (between Knob Creek Road and Technology Lane) – sidewalk replacement. One lane closed periodically. Motorists are asked to use caution in this area.
• Highland Avenue (between Whitney Street and Watauga Avenue) – trail installation. Road closed to through traffic for duration on project.
• Sawyers Pond Drive – curb replacement. One lane closed. Please use caution.
• Downtown crosswalks: Buffalo Street at State of Franklin Road, Main Street at Buffalo Street, Market Street at Buffalo Street, Buffalo Street at Main Street, Buffalo Street at Market Street – asphalt patching repairs. Expect lane closures; traffic may be stopped for up to 15 minutes. Areas will be congested, expect delays. Avoid areas if possible.

Water/Sewer projects:

• Oak Street, South Mountain View Circle, New Street, Hale Street, East 9th Avenue, North Mountain View Circle – water line replacement; lane closures
• Chamber Drive and Dennis Drive – tank construction; road closed at construction site
• Patrick and Madden Gray – water line replacement; lane closures
• Earl Street – water line replacement; lane closures
• Austin Springs Road (400-500 block) – water line replacement; lane closures
• Ford Creek Road (east of Douglas Shed Road) – water line construction; lane closures
• Lilly Lane (off Lone Oak Road) – water line replacement; lane closures
• East 9th Avenue (1200 block) – sewer line installation; lane closures

All work is weather permitting.
