Over our history, Parks and Recreation has expanded services and programs to serve Johnson City's growing population. We now operate 19 parks, 5 recreation centers, 19 tennis courts, 52 athletic fields, 2 pools (both indoor and outdoor), Cardinal Park and Roosevelt Memorial Stadium.

We are classrooms of life where young ones learn self-esteem, team work, and how to win and lose; where adults learn new skills and fitness; where seniors practice healthy lifestyles and develop new friendships.
