| The Planning Department is responsible for preparing and maintaining the city's Comprehensive Plan, a legal document which reflects the community's vision for its long-range physical development. The Department also helps to guide development by administering the Zoning Code and Subdivision Regulations. The Planning Department consists of four divisions: Development Review, Current Planning, Long-Range Planning, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). |
