The Finance Department is responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information to the City Commission, city manager, and department heads to assist in making sound financial decisions. This department records all accounting transactions generated by the operating departments of the City; prepares accurate and timely reports in accordance with sound accounting principles applicable to local, state, federal law, and the City Charter; maintains the payroll system; processes and collects both water and tax bills.
